Line a small baking sheet or rectangular container with parchment paper.
In a food processor, combine the rinsed chickpeas, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Process until completely smooth and creamy.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and fold in the mini dark chocolate chips by hand.
Spread the chickpea mixture onto the parchment-lined sheet, smoothing it into an even layer approximately 1/4 inch thick.
Melt the dark chocolate wafers and coconut oil together using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
Drizzle or spread the melted chocolate evenly over the cookie dough layer.
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Place in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours, or until the bark is firm and frozen through.
Remove from the freezer and break or cut into 8 portions. Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
